Well. You know somethings a little off when you not only
Start and FINISH a 500 page book, but also:
Wake up waaay after noon
Take a trip to the local Walmart
Spend a few hours with the fam
And, oh yeah, it's only 10:00.
Well, then again, that's just how I roll.
Also, if I were anywhere but HERE, with some of my friends around, I'd laugh maniacly and say "OH, BUT THE NIGHT IS YOUNG!!!" in my creepy, alluding voice that you all know and love.
But seeing as (1) I'm HERE, and aside from my grandma, my parents, and my CAT, (2) I know absolutely no one, (3) my hair is a mess, (4) my tummy hurts, and (5) I'm tired, I'm not up for painting the town tonight. No fun on your own. Trust me, I've tried it.
Oh, one more con for Utah? Okay, even though there is two feet of snow on the ground and it's like, 20 degrees... PEOPLE, YOU CAN STILL HAVE A LIFE. I went to Albertson's after sunset, and even though it was like, 8 o'clock, THERE WAS NO ONE OUT. It literally freaked me out. I was all watching my pea-coated back, like someone was going to jump out from behind the desserted dairy isle and jump me right in the middle of ALbertsons (excuse me, A Fresh Market), and no one would EVEN KNOW, because no one lives after dark here, apparently.
Oh, California... how I miss thee.
